Book of Remembrance
The Book Of Remembrance is a perpetual memorial made of the finest parchment and leather, prepared in a manner which ensures permanence and displayed in the attractive, peaceful Norman McLeay Centre for you to pay tribute to your loved ones.
You can have a memorial entered into the Book of Remembrance at any time and this can be in addition to one of the more traditional garden memorials.
The first step is to select the date under which you wish your memorial to appear. Then the wording needs to be decided for the entry. A memorial may be entered under any day of the year, allowing significant dates such as a birthday or wedding anniversary to be remembered. Then every year, on the anniversary of the date you have chosen, you may visit the Book of Remembrance and see the page containing your memorial displayed. Alternatively you can simply contact us and we will open the book to your page for you.
Minimum entry of five lines includes embellishment with either a gold initial letter, family crest or a delicate water colour painting of any flower or other symbol which may be of significance to the family.
Regimental badges may also be added to memorials to ex-service personnel.
The Norman McLeay Centre is open seven days of the week.
