Our Crematorium

Centennial Park has provided cremation services with dignity and respect for more than 50 years.

This custom built facility is surrounded by picturesque gardens and is considered to be one of the most well maintained state-of-the-art facilities in Australia. The facility houses three gas fired cremators with provision for a fourth. State legislation places very stringent conditions upon cremations and this combined with Centennial Park’s very thorough processes helps ensure accuracy in all aspects of the procedure. 

For families who wish to attend to watch the placement of the coffin into the cremator this facility provides this option with a private viewing room available by appointment. Many people may be unaware that unless specifically requested at the time of arranging a funeral, your loved one may not be cremated at Centennial Park. It is therefore important that when speaking with your funeral director, make sure you ask for Centennial Park.
