3 Generations and Friend Art Exhibition 2023

This August, the captivating 3 Generations and Friend Art Exhibition will feature in our Jubilee Complex Foyer as part of SALA 2023.

Immerse yourself in the talented artistry of three generations, Allyson Parsons, her mother Marie, son Henry Cockington, and friend, driftwood sculptor Alan Borg.

Step into the world of this exceptional family and be inspired by their new still life works and breathtaking landscapes from Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Flinders Ranges, the West Coast and beyond. Discover their artistic talents – pastel work from Marie and oils from Allyson and Henry. Friend Alan Borg’s remarkable and majestic sculptures of animals have been crafted from driftwood sourced along Australia’s picturesque coastline.

The artists will be in residence on Sunday, 20 August, from 1pm to 3pm.

Art has a way of offering comfort, inspiration, and a sense of peace. These remarkable artworks will transport you to serene locations, providing solace and a feeling of being present in those tranquil settings.

The 3 Generations and Friend Art Exhibition is open for viewing Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, this August in our Jubilee Complex Foyer.
