We are very aware that the current restriction have caused some distress for family and friends as they were unable to provide their loved ones with the farewell they would have liked. We also know that not having all those special people around to gather at such a sad time has been hard for both the family but also those who would have liked to have been with you.

We are here to help families through difficult times – now and always. Our consultants assist families with their needs for memorialisation of their loved ones to ensure they are commemorated now and remembered in the future.

If you would like to discuss with us how we can assist you and your family, please call us on (08) 8275 2255.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
25 March 2020

We are complying with the latest directions from the Federal Government and restricting our services to a maximum of 10 people from tomorrow, Thursday 26 March.

We understand how distressing this is for families and continue to recommend having a very small service now and holding the larger gathering of family and friends to farewell a loved one later, when the restrictions have been lifted.

From Tuesday, our largest chapel for funeral services, the Heysen Chapel, will be closed and we will offer the more intimate Florey and Mawson Chapels only for services, until further notice.

During these restrictions, we will also not be offering Garden services.

We appreciate your assistance in complying with these restrictions.

Please note:
We remain open to the public for visiting memorials as usual, as we are on 40 hectares, so plenty of space to keep your distance from others. While our Administration building remains open for renewals, enquiries, and appointments, we recommend calling or emailing us where possible.

It is important that every precaution is taken to ensure the health and safety of everyone. If you have travelled or had contact with someone who has travelled, or anyone that is unwell, we ask you to stay at home as recommended by the Federal Government.

FURTHER UPDATE FROM CENTENNIAL PARK
18 March 2020

Following the announcement this morning from the Federal Government banning all non-essential gatherings of 100 or more people indoors, Centennial Park have further reduced the maximum numbers we will allow in each of our facilities, together with pricing.

The revised, temporary pricing is available here:

COMMUNITY NOTICE FROM CENTENNIAL PARK
17 March 2020

It goes without saying that this is an uncertain time for all of us. Centennial Park remains committed to the health and safety of our team members and community.

Centennial Park attracts large numbers of visitors every day and will continue to follow the advice of Federal and State Government, and the World Health Organisation.

We are enabling social distancing as advised and in the interests of public health will be extra vigilant in the number of people we will permit in each of our chapels and lounges. We have reduced our prices according to the lower capacities for each space and will pass these prices on to our funeral arrangers.

We continue to:

While we understand the importance of farewelling our loved ones, it is very important that people who are unwell or have travelled overseas in the last 14 days DO NOT attend funerals, gatherings or appointments at Centennial Park at this time.

All tours and our community events  will be postponed until further notice.

We remain open to the public for visiting memorials as usual, as we are on 40 hectares, so plenty of space to keep your distance from others. We are also available regarding renewals and appointments including those over the phone or via email.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT FUNERAL SERVICES**

Do it well, do it later

We understand the importance of providing a fitting farewell to loved ones who we’ve lost and for that reason we are encouraging people to think about delaying services.

There are no rules around when you have the service and it can be at a different time to a burial or cremation of a loved one.

You don’t have to rush and can take as much time as you need and may wish to consider this, especially while there are more restrictions on people attending.

For memorials, we welcome you contacting our Memorial Team on:
(08) 8275 2255 or email memorial@centpark.org.au

For renewals and all other information, we welcome you contacting our Customer Care Team  on:
