At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Centennial Park introduced a range of measures including:
- social distancing
- mask wearing
- sanitiser stations
- regular cleaning and sanitisation of high traffic areas.
These measures ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in order to protect the wellbeing of our team members, maintain our ability to operate and provide essential services and manage the safety and wellbeing of our customers and other visitors.
Regular communications with funeral directors, memorial masons, suppliers and the community about our service delivery and safety measures and updates on our website and social media.
Live Streaming services were available to allow family and friends to view memorial services when attendance numbers were restricted.
Due to the changing requirements and the health advice to manage the spread of COVID, we have developed our policy regarding vaccination. Our policy aims to provide extra protection to our team, our families, visitors, and our partners.
As of 1 January 2022, all Centennial Park team members, funeral directors, celebrants, suppliers, contractors, and their staff conducting business within our Park will need to be fully vaccinated.
We aim to maintain as safe an environment as possible for our community to commemorate, celebrate and contemplate life.
Visiting Centennial Park
Other visitors to the Park, other than our team members, funeral directors, celebrants, suppliers, contractors, and their staff, are not required to be vaccinated.
We are fortunate to have such beautiful valuable green space for people to enjoy the healing benefits of its flora and fauna.
