Jubilee Complex Wisteria

Funeral & Memorial Service Spaces

Need to talk to someone about funeral, memorial or end-of-life planning for you or a loved one? Call one of our experienced consultants on (08) 8276 6011 or send us a message.

Together with our family and friends, funeral and memorial services help us to express our deepest thoughts and feelings about the life of a loved one.

Located in the heart of Centennial Park overlooking picturesque gardens and framed with wisteria vines, our award-winning Jubilee Complex offers a number of unique spaces tailored to suit the varying needs of families.

Each space is named after an iconic South Australian. The Mawson is named after explorer Sir Douglas Mawson who bravely conquered the frozen expanse of the Antarctic, The Florey, after Sir Howard Florey who developed the first penicillin-based antibiotic medicine and The Heysen, after South Australian artist Sir Hans Heysen. Each one is fitted with modern audio-visual equipment that is ideal for showing family photos or videos.

All of our spaces in the Jubilee Complex and Function Rooms can be used for events other than funeral services. Enquiries are welcome.

The Mawson

The Mawson is a unique and intimate space featuring a backdrop of a tranquil water feature and lush green plants. The natural environment provides a peaceful ambience and comforting setting to farewell a loved one. The Mawson is ideal for smaller services seating up to 30 people.

The Florey

The Florey is a more traditional space with contemporary style, custom fitted with a modern art glass feature designed by local artists. The Florey is a beautiful space to farewell your loved one, comfortably seating up to 90 people. It is suitable for both religious and non-religious services.

The Heysen

The larger of the three spaces, The Heysen is fitted with vast open columns, offering uplifting light and space. Beautifully crafted leadlight encompasses the room, providing a natural light. The Heysen comfortably seats 230 people over two levels, ideal for larger services.

Jubilee Complex Foyer

Stunningly framed with Wisteria vines, the Jubilee Complex Foyer is a grand space that can be used on its own or in conjunction with other service spaces to provide ample room for events from 350 people up to 800 people. A function in the Jubilee Complex Foyer can follow a service and catering is available to be ordered.

Garden Services

An outdoor garden service can be held under the Charles Newman Arbour, located adjacent to our premium rose garden. Its calming natural backdrop is suitable for both intimate family affairs and for larger gatherings of up to 100 people.

Viewing Room

This purpose-built viewing room provides a tranquil and peaceful place to farewell a loved one. Our Viewing Room allows family’s private time with their loved one prior to a service, cremation or burial.

We also offer the option of an evening viewing/rosary in The Mawson.
