‘Less is more: Within the stillness of Yoga, find your inner strength’
– Embracing Life at Centennial Park
Friday 22 February – 7.00am – 8.00am
Arrive at 6.45am for a prompt 7.00am start
A New Year: new beginnings
We are inspired to change parts of our life and to do some things differently, but we also have to go back to work or back to our daily routines; and sometimes our admirable intentions can be quickly forgotten.
Yoga has been found to be one of the few forms of physical and mental exercise that has passed the test of time: things like Aerobics, Zumba, etc. come and go; the practice of Yoga often remains.
Why? Because Yoga works! It works by subtracting what is not necessary, by simplifying and creating space. This happens physically, through expansive movements and mentally, through breath control and meditation.
This first Yoga class of the New Year is about slowing down to connect with your inner strength. We often feel tired and confused because we are too distracted. Through breathing exercises, movement and meditation we centre ourselves and are guided towards what we need to let go of and what we need to invite in.
Join Yogita Yoga’s Evelyn Krull at Centennial Park for this peaceful event. Class places are limited, so please register.
